CHSSWeb Survey Results

We sent our survey to the 38 people who are listed as primary contact for one or more web sites. Thirteen of the recipients responded. Here is what we learned.

1. Articles and multimedia are the most desired sessions, but all of the standard sessions are in demand.
2. There is interest in all three sessions, but particularly in social media strategies.
3. Respondents prefer to meet Wednesday through Friday.
4. Respondents prefer morning sessions. Only two respondents prefer afternoons.
5. Respondents would like one or two weeks' notice so they can plan to attend.

Based on these results, we begin this year's training schedule with a multimedia session and an orientation session, then cycle through the other sessions over the course of the semester. We will let you know when we post the schedule.

Members of the CHSSWeb team are now registered for courses in Google Analytics and in Social Media strategies. Once we have finished those courses, we will put together sessions on those topics. The Google Analytics session will likely be in late February, with Social Media to follow in mid-April. We will also put together a working session on preparing a publications plan.

We will schedule most sessions for Wednesday through Friday mornings. However, those times do not work at all for a few of the respondents. We will try to find a way to accommodate those schedules for the sessions in which they expressed interest.
