Program pages in CHSSWeb often serve as the first entry point, making it essential to keep them accurate, engaging, and up to date to showcase what sets your program apart.

By April, ADA Title II requires state and local government entities—including public universities like George Mason—to ensure all digital content meets recognized accessibility standards. Digital accessibility means designing websites, apps, and online tools so everyone, including people with disabilities, can use them. This time of year often brings new additions to our teams and changing roles. We wanted to share some information about how faculty and staff listings in CHSSWeb work to help you make sure these changes are reflected on your websites.

The new catalog for the 2025-26 academic year was published on Thursday, June 5th. We ran the catalog imports on Friday evening, updating all active programs and courses in CHSSWeb to reflect the new catalog's content.

2024 updates to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) reaffirmed that public entities, including George Mason University, must provide fully accessible digital experiences. By April 2026, all university websites and digital content must comply with WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 standards.

This week we released some improvements for image captions in CHSSWeb. These improvements make it easier to add captions to images uploaded directly through the editor tools.

The 2023-24 catalog was released this past Friday. All programs and courses in CHSSWeb now reflect the new catalog's content.
