The new content messaging tool makes it easy for you to let the editors of other sites know about your articles and events. To use it, look in the right-hand column for the envelope icon labeled "Notify Other Editors." Click it and you will see a list of sites with checkboxes. Click on one or more sites on which your item is not already featured, add an optional message, and click the send button at the bottom of the list.
If you have a message, a red box will appear just below the annoying smiley face thingie in the left-hand column. Clicking on that box will take you to a list of your messages. For each message, you can click on "feature" to add the content to your site and mark it as featured--all in one click. Or you can decline the invitation with one click.
We hope this makes it easier for you to get the word out about your articles and your events. We welcome your feedback and we will be tweaking this new tool further in the new year.
