Each department or program that offers awards to its outstanding students or alumni generates a show page for these awards when it enters the awardee information into the CHSSWeb system. The CHSSWeb team has recently made a change to these show pages to make awardee information more clear.
The show page previously listed all awardees for all years, with expanded information for the most current awardees. Now it shows the awardees for the active year, defaulting to the most recent award year if the page visitor has not selected a year.
Prior to this change, the award navigation was always fully expanded, which made it difficult to read on sites that have a large number of awards. Also, there was no way to view a list of the most recent undergraduate, graduate, or alumni awards. Now, this information is displayed concisely, with the option to learn more about each award as the visitor chooses.
