Analytics Email Setup
To receive Google Analytics email reports, we need an email address connected to a Google account. This can be:
1) A standard Gmail account.
2) A Mason email address (setup required).
You may use your own account, but we suggest you use a general account for your unit. A Google account can be created using a Mason email, if preferred. See steps below.
Steps to create a google account with Mason email address:
Go to the url: https://masonanalytics.gmu.edu/2017/04/27/how-to-create-a-google-account-associated-with-your-mason-email/
1) Enter First Name and Last Name (Optional) Details:
2) Complete Basic Information fields:
3) Enter your Mason email address. This will create a Google account tied to your Mason email address:
4) Enter the code from your Mason email:
5) Create a password for the Google account. This is not your Mason password:
6) Review the account info:
7) Accept to the Terms and Personalize:
8) Once account is successfully created:
After completing this process, we can now set your website's reports to be sent to the Mason email address provided.
