Core Settings
Site contacts can edit core settings for the site, including:
- Short description: A one-paragraph description of the site intended for public display.
- Public-facing Address and Contact Information: This appears in various places, most obviously in the footers on each page of your site.
- Site owner and contact: The site owner must have a bio associated with the site. The contact must be one of the people with editing rights to the site.
- RSVP email from address: Confirmation and RSVP emails generated from the Events app default to using the site's email address (under public-facing address and contact information) but this field allows you to use a different address as the default. In both cases, you can still choose to use a different RSVP-from address for any particular event.
To change site settings, navigate to Pages in the left-hand admin navigation. Look for a wrench icon at the top-right of the pages listing. Click on that icon, then click on "Core Settings".
This will open the core site settings form. Make your changes, then click save to update your site.
